I must say that, yes, I am addicted to fonts. I could (and do) spend hours and hours looking for new fonts to try out. I think Dr. Phil calls it "hoarding," but my husband calls it "obsessive compulsive." I don't care...I love fonts! It's like new toys...I don't know what I am going to do with all of them, but I will figure something out.
So, last week, I had a little font downloading spree, so I am very excited to tell you that there are several new fonts on the Create My Own page, with more to come soon! And now I am working on some more designs, so I can use my new fonts...life is wonderful! So, keep checking back over the coming days...I'm sure there will be lots of new designs to choose from. So, you have received your order and it's sitting there staring at you, and you are thinking 'this is overwhelming.' Don't be afraid! It's really not hard, and once you have done it, you will be hooked. Here are a few suggestions...
1. Don't get too excited when your package arrives and try to put your decal up right away...unroll it and let it sit and rest for awhile to try to keep it from rolling up on you while you are applying. Also, wait for some help, especially on larger decals...an extra set of hands definitely helps.
2. Take it slow...Seriously, don't do this in a hurry.
3. If you are applying your decals to a wall, the flatter the surface, the better. But if you do have textured walls, take it even slower. It is not uncommon for the vinyl to not want to stay on the wall...it will want to come off the wall when you are taking off the transfer paper...it's okay. Just pull the transfer paper back at a 45 degree angle very slowly. I am right handed, so I usually pull the paper with my left hand, and use my right hand to help the vinyl separate from the transfer paper.
